I'm ready for Spring

For Christmas my mother-in-law gave me a new book,  Country Wisdom & Know-How.  This is my all time favorite book.  It tells you everything from attracting humming birds, to building a chicken coop, to flowers to plant in your garden to keep bugs away from your produce.  I LOVE IT!!!

I can't wait to try out some of the things I've learned!!!!!!!

Frustrating.....

Well, there goes that!!!  We bought our 4 & 5 year old a new bunk bed.  I absolutely LOVE it.  They both want to sleep on the top bunk & this system covered it.  It is actually a bunk bed w/ a loft connected to it.  What is frustrating, we ordered it & it just came it and we can't make it fit.  We measured it before we bought it, but it's a little bit bigger than we thought & their room has too many doors :(   We just can't make it work.

On to plan B.

Homemade Soap

The boys and I made soap the other day.  It was SO easy and I just couldn't pass up the chance to save some money.  My kids go through pump soap so fast, lets just say it looks cool coming out of the pump & going down the drain.

           The fish & turtles are my favorite!!!!!  Later we made more in yellow, orange and purple.

Just a little Glycerin Soap, Soap Coloring & Soap Scent.  Now this was some good clean fun :)

Getting Started

Well, this is my first official blog & I have to say I'm a bit nervous & excited.  A lot of my friends blog & I just love reading about them & their families so I thought I'd give it a shot.  I've always wanted to blog, but I've never had enough courage to do it, I'm not the worlds greatest writer by any means.  SO, I will apologize in advance for any misspelled words and incorrect use of grammar.  :)

A little about me, I LOVE being surrounded by friends and family.  I am married to my soulmate and without him I'd be lost.  I have 3 young boys and a 14 year old bonus son :)  I enjoy being a mommy so much, they are the light of my life!!!!

Life around here gets a little crazy and I will try my best to keep up on my blogging.
